It’s official! There’s a new Superman in the house!

The second season of Supergirl is coming up soon and the CW and DC Entertainment has just released a photo of Superman starring in the TV show. Superman will be played at Tyler Hoechlin in the show and while I originally thought he would be a good fit based on his looks alone, I’m not sure how I feel about it now that they’ve released this photo:
I don’t know. Tyler seems too gaunt and lean to be playing Superman… at least in this photo. Or maybe I’m just too used to the perfect Superman-like look of Tom Welling. What do you think?
The second season of Supergirl is set to premiere on October 10, 2016.
