“Eat Bulaga!” just locked in its new hosts–Isko Moreno and Paolo Contis–after the two signed a long-term contract with its producer, Television and Production Exponents Incorporated (TAPE Inc.) on Saturday morning (July 8).
Present during the contract signing were Sparkle GMA Artist Center Vice-President Joy Marcelo, and Sparkle GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Manager Tracy Garcia. TAPE Inc. President and CEO Romeo “Jon” Jalosjos, Jr. also graced the event with his brother, TAPE Inc. CFO and Dapitan City Mayor Bullet Jalosjos, and TAPE Inc.’s legal counsel, Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque.

Isko and Paolo expressed their gratitude for the trust and opportunity given to them, and pledged to continue bringing joy and entertainment to the Filipino people through “Eat Bulaga!”
“Ang sabi nga namin, ang bagong Eat Bulaga! ay tungkol sa viewers kaya itutuloy-tuloy natin ang tulong at saya,” Isko reportedly stated after signing the contract with TAPE Inc. “I am happy and honored to fill in the shoes… And hopefully, mag-enjoy ang ating mga Kapuso, mga kababayan.”

“Marami silang choices ngayon sa noontime shows. For now, Paolo and I, and the team, are very happy about what transpired for the past week,” the former Manila city mayor continued.
Contis added, “Very blessed to be part of this team, the Eat Bulaga! team, sa tiwala na ibinigay nila sa amin ni Yorme. Wala nang dala-dalawang isip.”
“Our new slogan now is ‘puno ng saya’. We’re literally in the same boat. We literally have the same vision,” he concluded.
In an earlier interview with the online showbiz podcast “Marites University,” Moreno declared that he personally does not intend to “replace” the original hosts of the noontime show–Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon (TVJ). “Hindi basta-basta matatanggal sa puso at damdamin ng ating mga kababayan [ang TVJ],” he claimed.
