The show will be interpreted live in Filipino Sign Language (FSL), in collaboration with consultants and interpreters from the Benilde Center for Education Advancement of the Deaf (CEAD) and the School of Deaf Education and Applied Studies – Interpreting Education Program (SDEAS-IEP).
This ensures that Deaf audience members can fully experience the emotional storytelling, heartfelt music, and unforgettable performances of Dear Evan Hansen.
“At GMG Productions, we’ve always believed in the power of theatre to connect, heal, and bring people together. Dear Evan Hansen carries a deep message, one that reminds us that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and understood. We are proud to make this production more inclusive by working with the Benilde FSL interpreting team,” said Carlos Candal, CEO of GMG Productions.

To make the experience even better, a dedicated orchestra seating section has been reserved exclusively for Deaf audience members and their companions, ensuring clear sightlines of the interpreter.

This initiative is part of GMG Productions’ ongoing efforts to create a welcoming and accessible theatre environment for all.
Running only until October 5, 2025 at The Theatre at Solaire, Dear Evan Hansen tells the story of Evan, a high school student with social anxiety who longs for connection. A misunderstanding leads him into a web of lies that changes his life in ways he never imagined, forcing him to make a heartbreaking choice between truth and belonging.
With a deeply emotional book by Steven Levenson and an unforgettable score by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (the duo behind The Greatest Showman and La La Land), Dear Evan Hansen has become one of the most beloved musicals of the decade.
Tickets are available exclusively at TicketWorld, and with its final curtain call on October 5, 2025, this is your last chance to see why Dear Evan Hansen continues to resonate with audiences worldwide.
