In recent years, dogs have become more than just man’s best friend. With all the dog spas and hotels, pet-friendly places and doggie events popping up around the metro, this could never be more obvious. The number of dog lovers is increasing faster than before and they have been finding more and more ways to show their love for their furbabies.
As for me and my family, we have our own little angel at home. Well, she’s a mischievous little thing, so I can’t exactly say ‘angel’. Tiffany Felice or Fiffy, our Toy Poodle, has been with us for the past 9 years and we all love her to death. It may be queer for some people who don’t understand the feelings of a dog parent (or in our case grandparents), but we all seem to be under the impression that Fiffy is a child trapped in a poodle’s body. Have I mentioned how spoiled the little girl is? I mean, she has tons of clothes, hats and even sunglasses. She’s also really picky with her food and gets to eat her favorites on the dot as if she demands for it. Mineral water on the side. Yes, its kinda like the movie Beverly Hills Chihuahua was based on her life.
Having said all of that, it’s pretty obvious how precious Fiffy is to our Family and how we want the utmost best of everything for her. As I said earlier, though, Fiffy has been our constant companion for the past 9 years. And, as we all know, dog’s age way faster than humans. So, despite my insisting that she’s a 9-year-old kid, she’s actually a senior citizen and its really starting to show. Aside from many heart and liver problems, some sort of rashes also started showing up on her skin. I don’t really want to describe it as some of you might be eating while reading this, but let’s just say it’s like parts of her skin are starting to crack. The vets said it’s due to her immune system getting lower and that comes with old age. Her body, once covered with her beautiful apricot colored fur, now has bald spots, as well.
So, imagine my relief when I found out about Cocoremedy: the all-in-one health booster for dogs! The name itself already spelled hope for me and my family. “Maybe that’s the cure to Fiffy’s skin problems”, said my mom as I read snippets from their Facebook page out loud. And so I didn’t waste time to get a bottle for our precious baby.
“What exactly is this Cocoremedy?”,you may ask. Well, this 100% organic, raw and coldpressed virgin coconut oil is proudly made in the Philippines and not only promises to strengthen your pet’s immune system, but also:
- protects them from illness
- lets them heal faster when sick
- helps maintain a healthy weight, digestive system and appetite
- clears up skin problems
- makes coat soft, thick and shiny
“This is perfect,” I thought! Seriously, I thought this product was made to address Fiffy’s health needs. And so I held the beautifully labeled bottle in my hand with all the hope in the world that I’d see my baby’s cotton candy-like fur back again and not the Fiffy with bald spots and rashes. After all, it hurts to see a wonderful child in such a state.
Absolutely love the personal touch given by this card
We’ve all heard about virgin coconut oil (VCO) and its many wonders years back, so what makes this virgin coconut oil for dogs different? Cocoremedy comes from fresh organically grown coconuts from a local coconut farm. This is because part of the owner’s cause is to support locally-sourced products and businesses. Another great thing about it is that it contains lauric acid which is beneficial for your dog as it has been shown to be preventive against cancers and is anti-fungal, antibacterial, anti-parasitic and antiviral.
The great part about VCO for dogs is that you can easily include it in your dog’s diet! It contains mediumchain triglycerides (MCT) which balance the thyroid, therefore helping overweight dogs lose weight and help sedentary dogs feel more energetic as MCT is a rich source of energy! Now, even your dog can start a lifestyle change!
While I’m not expecting immediate results, I am positive that with its contents, Cocoremedy will help a lot in improving my Fiffy’s health. How would you know if you won’t give it a try, right? And I am pretty sure that in the pet market, Cocoremedy is one of the pet innovations worth trying.
