What a rare find! (Pun intended)
The stereotypical cheese that you see in cartoons, is a yellow circle or triangular slice with holes all over. That’s what I remembered most as a kid. But growing up, you soon learn that said holey cheese is merely swiss cheese, and not all cheeses look that way.
Nevertheless, the image sticks and remains an icon for many. That’s why Manila-based bakery bylove PH designed their cheesecakes — Sweescakes, that is — to look like the cartoon cheese. Bright yellow color, holes, and all.

The Sweescake is described as a “light and creamy rare cheesecake made with Swiss cheese”. It’s by far, a feast for the eyes! But that’s not all that there is to it. Cut into the cake, and you will find layers upon layers of crushed grahams, whipping cream, and a mix of Australian cream cheese, real Swiss cheese, and Greek yogurt. Yum!
