Continuing the feast, we had the Potato with Beef Tenderloin Cubes. After that, we had the Thai-Style Prawns with Fried Kuapao. The Fried Kuapao, we were told, is supposed to be dipped in the sauce of the Thai-Style Prawns. However, they were still so good on their own that we agreed they would still be awesome even without the sauce. In fact, I would be willing to come back for them alone anytime.
Fried Beancurd with Minced Pork Sauce
Next, we tried the Fried Beancurd with Minced Pork Sauce, which is the perfect example of guilt-free goodness. We also tried the Beancurd Rolls, which were also good.
Fried Minced Shrimp with Sesame Seed Cake
Then, we were introduced to the Fried Minced Shrimp with Sesame Seed Cake, which is now my new favorite. At first, we thought it was just flattened Buchi. Covered with sesame seed, it had the familiar crispiness on the outside; but inside, it had soft, juicy, and flavorful shrimp meat in it.
The greatness does not end there, either. We became even more astonished as the Steamed Garlic Crabs were served. Imagine three freshly-cooked crabs! (They have a promo for this right now, by the way.)
All these goodness in one plate!
Everything was so overwhelming. As usual, Causeway Seafood Restaurant never fails to amaze me each time.
To end our epic dining experience, we drank Tsing Tao Beer, which is sweeter than the usual stuff we buy at local stores. It is light, too – perfect for long and meaningful conversations with friends and loved ones.
Second floor of Causeway Seafood Restaurant Banawe
The restaurant itself is perfect for families and groups of friends. Apart from having large, circular tables, which can accommodate up to twelve people, it also has a very friendly and relaxed environment. VIP Rooms are available for meetings, too.
Having said all of that, I can definitely say that Causeway Seafood Restaurant is the perfect go-to place for both newbies of Cantonese food and for real fanatics. It is definitely a must-try!
