The first match of the season came to a spectacular close with Bangkok SHUCK OFF 2026 (2nd Edition), held as part of the prestigious “The Oyster World Cup Gastronomy 2026” at Chatrium Grand Bangkok

Now recognized as one of the most exciting luxury gastronomy and lifestyle events of the year, the festival continues to elevate Bangkok’s culinary scene through world-class competition and immersive dining experiences.
Following its strong success last year, this year’s edition has been taken to a new level, bringing together Michelin-starred chefs, award-winning oyster shucking champions, renowned mixologists, and culinary experts from over 8 countries. Guests were guided through 8 international taste journeys, presented over an 8-week festival running from June to July 2026.
A key highlight of this year’s closing stage was the Bangkok SHUCK OFF 2026 (2nd Edition), where Mr. Teeraphat Jaiporn was officially crowned the winner. He will go on to represent Thailand at the upcoming international oyster shucking competition in China.

As part of the Oyster World Cup Gastronomy Series 2026, participants and guests experienced an intense live oyster shucking competition, alongside tastings of premium oysters from around the world. The experience was complemented by a specially curated buffet at Savio Restaurant, offering a world-class culinary journey in a vibrant luxury setting.
In July, the excitement continues with the Thailand Grand Écailler Challenge (2nd Edition), organized in collaboration with leading international institutions from France. The program also features exclusive Master Classes led by global experts, further strengthening the event’s position as a key platform in the international gastronomic competition scene.
Looking ahead, another major highlight will take place on 4 July 2026 with the Championnat d’Écailler de Thaïlande 2026 – Thailand Oyster Shucking Championship 2026, organized in partnership with France Écaille, Disciples Escoffier Thailand, and EDELWEISS. The competition will select Thailand’s representative for an exclusive experience in France. .
