Following Alodia Gosiengfiao’s confirmation that she and Wil Dasovich have indeed parted ways, her sister Ashley has taken to social media to admit to all how she had foreseen the couple’s breakup through a tarot reading she had done.
In a tweet, Ashley confirmed this in response to a netizen who had questioned her hobby of tarot reading and wondered if she also predicted the breakup of Wilodia through the cards. Ashley said, “As a matter of fact, I did. But was it necessary and my place to tell the world about a matter as private as that? No.”
She proceeded to post the Twitter exchange on her Facebook page which she captioned with “Bakit parang…kasalanan ko? (Why does it seem like…it’s my fault?)” while adding laughing-crying emojis.
Netizens also managed to screen capture Wil’s reaction to Ashley’s post in the comments which, as of writing, seems to have already been deleted.
Wil’s comment reads: “Juskopo yung tarot cards na yan… I hate to admit it but it’s true on this one, Ashley knew way before and I remember nung time na yan looking at your mischievous face Ashley na alam na alam kung anong nangyari without ever saying. Shucks…sana charot cards na lang, katakot na yung nagigiging totoo lagi ang mga tarot cards.”
[Translation: “Oh Lord, those tarot cards… I hate to admit it but it’s true on this one, Ashley knew way before and I remember that time that just by looking at your mischievous face Ashley that you already knew what was going on without ever saying anything. Shucks… I wish they were just ‘charot’ cards, it’s terrifying when tarot cards end up being true.”]
Alodia revealed her split with Wil on a Facebook post on Sunday, November 14, which she said had already happened a while back. “We tried to work things out many times, but some things are not meant to be,” she announced. “I hope you respect our privacy during this time in our lives.”

Later, she addressed the breakup again during a “League of Legends: Wild Rift” live stream. “Yung sentiment ko lang is ‘sayang.’ (My only sentiment is that it’s such a loss.) That’s all. Again, things happen for a reason. I trust that gut feeling na may (that there’s a) better plan for the both of us. ‘Yon lang naiisip ko (That’s all I think about),” PhilStar quoted her as saying during the stream.
“‘Wag nang pilitin kung ‘di naman talaga. (Let’s not force things that can’t be done.) It’s not meant to be. I mean, we tried naman, ‘di ba? (we tried anyway, right?) So carry along. ‘Di naman (It’s really not the) end of the world…Life goes on,” she added.
