BTS was wholeheartedly embraced as they arrived in Mexico City ahead of their “Arirang” concert.

Prior to their concert in Mexico, BTS visited the National Palace, where Claudia Sheinbaum personally greeted the group. After the warm welcome, the members appeared on the balcony and were met with overwhelming love and support from fans who gathered in the area just to catch a glimpse of the supergroup.
Multiple reports cited that the K-pop powerhouse’s visit to the National Palace drew around 50,000 fans to the venue.
Following the group’s visit, Mexico’s president expressed her gratitude for their warm visit and cultural exchange.

In a separate post, she expressed how their songs create a safe space where peace and love for music were fostered.

“It brings me great joy to have been able to give them this moment of jubilation. The group conveys positive messages in their songs that foster a culture of peace and inclusion,” she wrote.
The K-pop group also posted a photo of their visit to the National Palace.
