A brighter future is ahead as Run As One: Hope in Motion brought the roads of University of the Philippines Diliman to life last March 22, 2026. Picking up from last year’s stride, Run As One gathered nearly 1,000 runners to take part in this meaningful shared experience for the community.
Run As One aims to make education more accessible, with every step contributing to a mission dedicated to striding for education and striding for the future. It is grounded in the idea that small acts can collectively contribute to real outcomes for communities in need. By connecting participation to a clear purpose, the initiative encourages more people to take part in creating positive change and to hope for a better future.
Run As One directly supports two key beneficiary programs: the UP IE Club’s Tulong Eskwela and the UP College Admission Mastery Program (UPCAMP).
Tulong Eskwela is a project that partners with local learning centers to provide assistance based on their current needs. Partnered with the Kaingin 1 Child Development Center, located in Barangay Pansol, Quezon City, it is currently working to provide essential learning resources for over 100 children aged 3–4 years old. Funds raised from the event will be used for facility improvements and learning materials, addressing the immediate needs of the center and enhancing the students’ learning environment.
Meanwhile, UPCAMP continues its efforts to prepare public senior high school students for the annual UPCAT and other college entrance exams. Established in 2001, the program offers free review sessions through a six-week program, and in 2026 alone, it has supported over 300 students. Proceeds from the run will help sustain and expand these sessions, allowing more students to access quality entrance exam preparation.
The event was made possible through the support of its partners. Run As One: Hope in Motion 2026 was presented by the UP Industrial Engineering Club in collaboration with the UP Industrial Engineering Alumni Association, and co-presented by MILO Philippines and Century Tuna.
Run As One is more than just a fun run. It is a movement rooted in the belief and hope that there is a better world for everyone. As runners cross the finish line, they carry more than just personal accomplishment, but also a sense of fulfillment knowing their efforts contributed to a larger cause for their community. Through this initiative, actions are taken to open opportunities for the next generation while fostering unity and a shared sense of purpose. Run As One remains committed to growing in the years ahead and building a community that continues to strive to make a difference.
