Alodia Gosiengfiao has taken to Facebook in order to speak out on the rumors that she and her longtime partner Wil Dasovich have broken up.
In a post published on Sunday evening, November 14, the cosplayer and vlogger confirmed that the news was true and that it had already happened a while back.
“To those asking, wala na kame (we’re not together anymore). It’s been a while. We tried to work things out many times, but some things are not meant to be,” she announced. “I hope you respect our privacy during this time in our lives.”
As of writing, Wil has yet to come forward with his own statement regarding the breakup.
Wil and Alodia first went public with their relationship in February 2018 through a vlog posted on Wil’s YouTube channel in which he had also announced the end of his chemotherapy for colon cancer. In the year prior, Alodia was known to have frequently traveled to the U.S. to accompany Wil while he underwent treatment.
They have since traveled around the world for liesure and to attend events together, created multiple vlogs, and bonded over games and e-sports.
Wil’s last post about Alodia on his Instagram page was back in March 2021. However, he recently published a vlog last month with Alodia in which they reacted to a design of a house they were planning to build.
