Last year, Xian Lim announced his upcoming film “Hello, Universe”. This dream project of his is a fantasy-comedy film with a touch of drama, bringing a breath of fresh air to Filipino movies. “We wanted to present something light, something fun with a different twist, at the same time,” Lim previously told ABS-CBN. Both written and directed by him, he teased, “The story, in a nutshell, is about second chances.”

Leading the “Hello Universe” movie cast are Janno Gibbs, Anjo Yllana, and Benjie Paras. They will be joined by Maui Taylor, Sunshine Guimary, Gene Padilla, MJ Cayabyab, Madelaine Red, Joe Vargas, and Majo Lingat. Watch the trailer for Xian Lim’s new movie below!
Lim made his directorial debut in the 2019 Cinemalaya movie, “Tabon”. He also directed the series, “Pasabuy” in 2021 for an online streaming platform, and did an adaptation of “Ibong Adarna” in collaboration with the Cultural Center of the Philippines.
Where to watch the “Hello, Universe” full movie? The latest VIVA film will be showing in cinemas nationwide starting January 25, 2023.
