An award-winning film during the 74th Locarno Film Festival, Whether the Weather is Fine or Kun Maupay Man It Panahon is a 2021 film that starred. Daniel Padilla, Charo Santos-Concio and Rans Rifol.
The film is directed and co-written by Carlo Francisco Manatad and was screened at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival, Chicago International Film Festival and also an official entry in the 47th Metro Manila Film Festival.
Though the plot is said to take place during Typhoon Haiyan, the film is based on Manatad’s personal experiences during the 2013 typhoon in Tacloban.
During the Metro Manila Film Festival, the film bagged awards like 2nd Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Production Design, Best Visual Effects, Most Gender Sensitive Film, and the Gatpuno Antonio J. Villegas Cultural Awards.

As Amazon’s Prime Video was launched in the Philippines, Whether the Weather is Fine is one of the first few Filipino films that they had announced to carry. It will be available on the platform starting October 10, 2022.
