After months of speculation, Xian Lim finally confirmed that he’s dating Filipino-Chinese film producer Iris Lee.
In an interview with Esquire Philippines, he opened up about his relationship status, admitting that he and Iris are currently seeing each other.
“Yes, I’m seeing Iris,” he said. “Just to clear everything, to clear all the speculations. We are seeing each other and we are very happy.”

“Una sa lahat [First of all], Iris is a talented filmmaker. She’s my producer and she’s also my creative partner,” he added.
The actor-producer clarified that they started dating after his breakup with Kim Chiu and denied that a third party was involved in their previous relationship.
“These are the things that I want to clarify. Number one: that there was a third party (involved in the breakup with Chiu). There’s no third party. That’s it. That plain and simple,” he emphasized.
He also dismissed the rumors that he got married and was already living with someone, stating it saddens him that some people get dragged into such false narratives.
“Ang busy-busy ni Iris, ang busy-busy ko [Iris was so busy, and so am I]. She has a lot on her plate, and I have a lot on my plate. And, you know, she doesn’t deserve all that flak. We don’t deserve that because all the things na people are saying, there’s no truth to any of it,” he said.
Earlier this year, Xian and Iris were seen attending a motorcycle riding school and scouting film locations in Thailand, which fueled the rumors. The two previously worked together on several projects, such as “Hello, Universe!,” “Deleter,” and “Bird Day.”

In December 2023, Xian and Kim confirmed their split after being together for 12 years. In the same interview, he described their romance as a “beautiful relationship.”
“Because it was a beautiful relationship, it was a beautiful 12 years. And we worked it out. That’s why it lasted that long,” he noted.
