Thatโs a good question, the last time I saw a rainbow? Lemme think, gee I canโt remember.ย I know it wasnโt recently, but I think I saw several months ago.

I rarely see a rainbow. My mom used to tell me that rainbow usually comes out after the rain or if humid while raining. So everytime the weather is like that, I stare at our window and wait for the rainbow to come out.
When I was a kid, my perception of a rainbow is a perfect arc with colors bright and vivid “ROY G.
BIV” (red, orange, yellow, green, indigo and violet).

Now that I’m a bit older, I wondered: What are rainbows anyways? A rainbow is a meteorological phenomenon that is caused by reflection, refraction, and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky. It takes the form of a multicolored arc.

Rainbows can be full circles but it is normally seen as an arc. Additionally, rainbows can be seen whenever there are water drops in the air and sunlight shining behind and are seen usually at a low altitude.
In Biblical meaning, though, a rainbow signifies Godโs covenant with Noah that he will never destroy the earth and mankind by water again. God made this covenant with Noah after the great flood.
Hmm, what a great story. Oh well, who doesn’t fall in love with the beauty of a rainbow?
So, next time you see a rainbow appreciate how droplets of water and sunlight can produce such a beautiful and magnificent site. Also, remember that this is Godโs sight of the covenant he made with Noah and all inhabitants of the earth.
