WATCH: Trailer of Chris Pratt and Tom Holland’s Animated Movie ‘Onward’

If you’re still hungover from Endgame last April, you’re in for a treat. Just a few months ago, Marvel fans were delighted to hear that two of their favorite Avengers stars are voicing a new animated movie together. The news first broke from a tweet from Pixar last December 2019, but now, things got more exciting because Pixar just gave us a sneak peek on the said movie. Even Chris Pratt himself posted the video on his own Facebook page.

You can take a look at the trailer below from Onward’s official Instagram page:

The animated film, which is called Onward, brings you to a suburban fantasy universe where unicorns fly among the birds, mermaids roam the sea, and dragons are kept as pets. Although the first few minutes of the preview showed how magical the world is, they also hinted that the modern age has made the magic fade away. That is the reason why the two main characters, played by both Chris Pratt and Tom Holland, decided to embark on a mission to find out if magic still exists in the world. Chris gives life to Barley Lightfoot, the elder and more adventurous brother who initiated the quest while Tom stars as Ian, the younger and meeker sibling who rides along with his brother’s plans.

Aside from the two Marvel actors, the film also features the voices of A Bug’s Life’s Julia Louis-Dreyfus as their mother and award-winning actress Octavia Spencer. Details about Spencer’s character is yet to be unveiled.

The film is written by Dan Scanlon and produced by Kori Rae. Both of which are also part of the team who created Monsters University so we can expect the new film to be a great one. It is also announced that Onward will be released on March 6, 2020. That’s less than a year left before we see this on the big screen. We can’t wait to see some brotherly love from Tom and Chris!

What do you think of the trailer? Are you excited to watch Onward in the theaters?
