Rere Madrid and Kai Sotto surprised followers with a heartwarming announcement of a major milestone.

In a heartfelt joint Instagram post, the couple shared that they have been trying to keep the most wonderful news a “secret” for a while.

“For a while, we’ve been living in our own little world. Holding onto a secret that made every day feel like an adventure,” the caption read. “Every moment, every plan, every quiet smile. It was all for you. And now, we finally get to share it.”
They then revealed that they are expecting their first child. The video gave followers a glimpse of their own reactions, as well as those of their loved ones. It also captured candid moments of the couple navigating the pregnancy together, surrounded by the people they cherish most.
“Our greatest adventure is just beginning, and you’re already the best part of it,” they added.
Following the announcement, fellow celebrities and fans sent their congratulatory messages in the comments section.
“Congratulations Bunso at Bayaw! Mahal ko kayo,” Ruru Madrid, Rere’s brother, commented.
Naiyak ako… congratulations to the both of you,” Ashley Ortega wrote.
In late May 2026, the couple surprised netizens with the news of their wedding. Their intimate ceremony took place in Alfonso Cavite and was officiated by Mayor Randy Salamat.
