Fans of the lovable anime Cardcaptor Sakura rejoice at the news that she is coming back to the screen next year.
Anime News Network reported that the return of the TV series will premiere in January 2018. The trailer for Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card has been released and it looks just as good as ever!

Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card will pick up where the first show ended. In this season, we continue with Sakura’s story as she enters junior high school. She discovers that the Sakura Cards have become blank powerless and so she journeys to find out what’s wrong. In the process, Sakura and her friends discover and capture the transparent cards using a new and much stronger mystical key and incantation.

There’s no news yet as to whether or not Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card will be shown in local networks, but nevertheless, we’re definitely excited for Sakura’s return!
