We’ve had our fair share of romantic comedies and dramas on the big screen, but here’s a family film that’s sure to be a hit to all audiences.
Seven Sundays is an upcoming film from Star Cinema about a dying father who just wants to spend time with his grown-up children who already have lives of their own. Does it sound familiar? Maybe because it’s a story that hits a little bit too close to home.

The title comes from the special request of the father, played by Ronaldo Valdez, who’s diagnosed with cancer and asks his children to set aside seven Sundays for them to be together. This then urges them to deal with unresolved issues in the family.

The upcoming film stars some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, not just today, but even in the previous generations. Ronaldo Valdez, Aga Muhlach, Dingdong Dantes, Christine Reyes, and Enrique Gil will all be part of this star-studded family film.
The release date for Seven Sundays, directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, is yet to be announced.
