WATCH: “Nacho Tables” is the next viral TikTok food trend that’s chaotic and fun

It’s NACHO ordinary party trick!

Beyond dance challenges and lip-syncing videos, TikTok is also home to recipe videos and food hacks. And all throughout, we’ve seen (and tried!) some of them —like cereal pancakes or the Jollibee baked rice, for example. But now, we’ve got a new trend, and it’s a great party trick this time around.

The name? Nacho Tables!

Initially posted by Tiktok user @stefherder, the video shows how to build your own nacho table. In this case, the family lined their table with tinfoil, covered the whole table with chips, and slathered ground beef and cheese all over. To finish it off, they even added other toppings like guacamole, jalapeños, onions, peppers, lettuce, and salsa. All in messy, good fun, I would say. And I’m sure a lot agree. With over 666,000 likes and more than 101,000 shares as of posting, I’d say it was a hit!

Take a look!

Looks familiar? Back in the Philippines, we already have something similar: a boodle fight. Yes, I’m talking about the kind where you line your table with banana leaves, fill it with rice, and top it off with your favorite ulam and sides.

Do you think the resemblance is uncanny? I sure do, but I’d still love to try this version nonetheless!
