Here’s something to excite fans for the next film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe: the first teaser trailer of Black Widow.

Black Widow is said to be a prequel of the spy’s life. Rumors are swirling that it’s set in Budapest, Hungary, a location Romanoff has mentioned a few times in past MCU films. This was sort of confirmed by reports that a title card reading “Budapest” was revealed in a clip shown during the Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con.
The villain is set to be Taskmaster, who has mnemonic abilities. That means he can absorb knowledge in an instant. He was able to copy rope tricks after seeing a cowboy on TV, and he became a star athlete in high school after watching a football game. He continued gaining valuable skills until he became a mercenary for hire by criminal organizations.
Johansson will be joined by David Harbour, Florence Pugh, O. T. Fagbenle, and Rachel Weisz. There is no word who will play Taskmaster.
Black Widow will premiere on May 1, 2020.
