Claudine Barretto has revealed that she visited the tomb of her late ex-boyfriend Rico Yan seemingly during the time of her father’s hospitalization.
In the video she shared on Instagram, Claudine tearfully prayed to Rico as she tried to come to terms with the patriarch’s failing health.

“I’m so scared, Rico,” she said. “I’m scared to lose my dad. It’s not going to be the same anymore.”
She also asked him to take care of her dad.

The video was only posted on Wednesday, October 23, a week after Miguel Alvir Barretto’s passing due to acute respiratory failure. He was 82 years old.
Rico, meanwhile, died at the age of 27 in 2002.
This comes amid the highly publicized feud between Claudine’s sisters Gretchen and Marjorie that began at the wake of their father when Marjorie allegedly refused to shake hands with Gretchen as a sign of truce. The three Barretto siblings have all shared their side of what had happened at the time.
