On March 30, TVJ posted a photo of Wally on a hospital bed, informing social media users of his current condition.
“Sa mga nangangamusta kay Dabarkads Wally, maayos na po ang kanyang kalagayan. Maliban sa kaunting sugat at bukol, maayos at ligtas na po ang kanyang kalagayan (To those asking about Wally, he is doing well. Aside from minor wounds and bruises, he is safe and in stable condition),” the caption read.
“Lagi tayong mag i-ingat (Let’s stay safe), Dabarkads!” it added.
In a Facebook post, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Lupi Fire Station reported that a 53-year-old man sustained “multiple abrasions on both the upper and lower extremities” due to a motorcycle accident that took place in Barangay Bel Cruz, Lupi, Camarines Sur on March 29.
While found conscious, the comedian was noted to have “limited mobility in his right leg,” which suggested a possible injury. Despite the circumstances, he was safely transported to Bicol Medical Center for further medical evaluation and recovery.
Wally Bayola is a well-known comedian and host of the noontime variety show “Eat Bulaga!”
