Vice Ganda Endorses Barbie Forteza as a Perfect Fit for “It’s Showtime”

Following the premiere of “It’s Showtime” on Good Television (GTV), Vice Ganda praised Barbie Forteza’s performance on the show!

The “Maria Clara at Ibarra” actress was one of the guests on the noontime show’s first episode aired on GTV. She gave a hair-raising dance performance alongside ABS-CBN’s brightest stars–Kim Chiu, Belle Mariano, and Alexa Ilacad–during the program’s grand opening number! Netizens also could not get over her dropping their signature catchphrase, “What’s up, madlang people?!”

On live television, Vice Ganda noted how it must have been so long for the GMA star to have wanted to do that, which Forteza undeniably confirmed. Later that day, the headliner even took to social media to express her thoughts on how Barbie Forteza would be a perfect fit for “It’s Showtime.”

She wrote on Twitter with an excerpt of the show with Forteza’s greeting, “Bagay si Barbie sa Showtime. I love her vibe!”

Barbie, on the other hand, quoted the Tweet with her response: “Omg! Maraming salamat po! G na G po ako!”
