It seems like it was only yesterday when Robert Pattinson was officially cast as the new Batman and fans have been trying to put together a cast to play the villains alongside him. One of these characters is Selina Kyle aka Catwoman.
According to a report by Geeks Worldwide, Warner Bros. has come up with a shortlist of actresses who are in the running to play the infamous cat burglar. English Actress Vanessa Kirby is apparently on it. Kirby is known best for her roles as Princess Margaret in The Crown and, more recently, as Alanna Mitsopolis in Mission: Impossible – Fallout.

Catwoman and the Penguin have been previously reported by ComicBook.com to have big roles in The Batman. Forbes also reported early in June that we’ll finally get to see a proper Robin in the new film as well as new versions of Alfred Pennyworth and Commissioner Gordon.
The Batman is slated for a June 2021 release.
