Urban Essentials was originally known as the official distributor of Wink Recovery Shapewear, but they have now ventured into bringing in more products that are not available in the Philippines yet.

Just wanna say that I’ve already given birth a week ago via c-section and the Wink binder has been a really big help in my recovery! What a life saver! I was up and about in around two days and Wink binder helped me move around the house and even play with my two-year old kulit toddler! We sat down with the owner Joy Lim-Astilla, who shared how she started Urban Essentials. She shares that when she gave birth, she was looking for the perfect binder and couldn’t find one. She then found Wink and started recommending it to people.

She is now the official distributor and has helped many mothers post-partum.

Her other products are from her friends’ brands and  she personally uses them, too. She only recommends products that are tried and tested.
Over the years, she has developed trust among her loyal buyers and followers for Urban Essentials.

Urban Essentials has come a long way since it started and from a store inside Joy’s home, she now has an actual store where people can check out, try, and purchase the products.

Though Urban Essentials accepts orders through their website, the store is a place where the customers can really immerse in quality products and get a chance to ask the owner and sales representatives questions.

Though moms use Stasher for baby food, it can also be used in the professional kitchen. In fact, celebrities like Erwan Heussaff have been seen using it.

Mustela, on the other hand, though available in malls, is a bestseller at Urban Essentials because the sales representatives and owner give more information about the products and how they helped Joy with her kids.
