When I first heard about Blowout Bar, I got intrigued as to what kind/type of service they offer. So when I had the chance to “prettify” myself, I immediately head on over to their salon to try their services!
According to Co-Owners, Ms.Kristina Picar and Mr.Michael Arroyo, Blowout Bar is the first and only authentic blow dry bar concept in the Philippines. What makes them different is in the focus of their business which is only on hairstyling and haircare as opposed to regular salons which carry more general services.
Cool and Cozy Interiors
I felt at home when I first entered Blowout Bar. They lady greeted me with a smile and asked what I wanted for my hair.

I opted for Malibu Rum! The lady described it as “sexy beach curls”!
After I decided which style to get, they shampoo-ed my hair and gave me a short but relaxing head massage!
And the blowin’ begins!
The place has an LCD TV too wherein you can choose a chic flick movie to watch and some magazines to keep you entertained.
They use only the best (Organic and Non-Organic) products from Germany and U.S.
My Before and After Look
All in all, my Blowout Bar experience lived up to their motto: “Treat yourself to fabulous hair everyday!” It did make me feel fab and good!

Love Blowout Bar! Thank to your article for making me discover it! I’m now a regular. I was so happy when this opened since it’s near my place of work here at the Enterprise. It’s a good confidence booster everytime you feel overly stressed from work and..well..life! The price isn’t what I would say is “cheap” but then again this IS Makati and nothing in this city ever is. I used to go t a place here that charges 500 and up for a regular blowdry(and that’s not even a blowout!) so I would say it’s value for money. The staff are also friendly and service is prompt and that’s not common these days as you know. I’m happy I discovered this place am sure many of you will also like it! Cheers!

They only have one stylist.
I booked for 4 person and i did not expect they will only have one person doing all 4 of us. the last one to be done has to wait a stressful 1.5 hours.
I felt minadali. Each person took about 30 mins lang,long hair and all. When i inquire to book, the person told me long hair will take about 45 – 60 mins even longer pa. How come each of us took about 30 mins lang , even less to some.
Not value for money. They price now is actually 400 + 150 for argan which means only using a different shampoo(morocan argan shampoo) which apparently you can buy cheap at watson.
