2. Bands
Hell yeah! To spice things up, local and international bands performed at BoA 2016. I’m really lucky to have been up and close to the artists and see them live. Here are the bands that rocked BoA 2016: Tanya Markova, Grace Note, Callalily and UchuSentai:Noiz. There was also the Ongaku Fest where Japanese artists Luna Haruna and INKT performed live. We weren’t allowed to take pictures and share the experience, though – gomen (sorry) T.T
Tanya Markova sang Ghost Fighter’s Theme! 😀
UchuSentai:Noiz’s Angel-Taka sings Liwanag sa Dilim

Eunice Jorge of Gracenote serenades the crowd with the violin
Kean Cipriano of Callalily gets close with the fans
1. Cosplayers
The fans really brought life to BoA 2016 and made it a huge success. I’m actually a casual fan. I know a lot of stuff about anime, but I never tried cosplaying. It’s a craft that needs a lot of patience, time and resources (not really if you can do low cost cosplays, though).
That’s why my heart goes out to all of the cosplayers who put a lot of effort into becoming the characters they love. They made their costumes accurate, perfected their habits and embodied their personalities. To that, I salute all the cosplayers at the event. You really are sugoi desu. 😀
