On June 24, the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines (BCCP), in partnership with 1834 Premium Distilled Gin and Archangel Reserve Premium Dry Gin, will host its annual World Gin Day at Dusit Thani Manila, showcasing globally renowned Filipino and British gin brands in a night celebrating the creativity, craftsmanship, and excellence shaping the future of the industry.

Supporting organizations include seven proudly British gin brands: Courageous Spirits – Glaswegin, Jawbox Gin, King & Country, Adnams Southwold, G&I Spirit Group Ltd., East London Liquor Co. (ELLC), and Fidra Gin.
The event is also supported by raffle sponsors Brittany Hotel, The Westin Manila, Discovery Suites, and media partner WhenInManila.com.
Welcoming the event with enthusiasm, BCCP Executive Vice Chairman Chris Nelson noted:
“Filipinos’ strong demand for gin has made the country the world’s largest gin market. That creates opportunities for British producers known for their innovation and diverse range of botanicals, while also opening doors for wider collaboration in other industries that we have been actively supporting, such as cybersecurity, agriculture, and the wider food and beverage sector, where many British SMEs are seeing significant potential.”
Globally, gin remains one of the world’s most dynamic spirits categories, with the market valued between USD 16 billion and USD 22 billion and projected to reach approximately USD 24 billion to USD 37 billion over the next decade as premium and craft varieties continue to grow.
Worldwide consumption reached around 107 million nine-litre cases in 2024, representing an increase of approximately 25% compared to 2019 levels. At the same time, the United Kingdom continues to lead in gin exports, with HMRC data cited by Rothschild & Co Redburn showing export growth of 14% in 2025 and continued growth through March 2026.
