Metro Manila is in for a rare cultural treat this October as world-renowned pianist Cecile Licad takes the stage for an intimate solo performance.
Regarded as a “pianist’s pianist” by The New Yorker, Licad will bring her artistry to the serene, garden-surrounded Gallery MiraNila on October 1, 2025, at 6:30 PM.

This one-night-only concert is extra special: it’s the only solo performance Licad will give in Metro Manila this year. She has chosen pieces she believes will deeply resonate with local audiences, including:
- Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata
- Schumann’s Carnaval, Op. 9
- Liszt’s St. Francis de Paolo Walking on the Waves
- Scott Joplin’s ragtime favorites (fresh from her Carnegie Hall program)
- Chopin’s Ballade No. 1 in G Minor
