Tech-X Bikes: Enjoy the Great Outdoors
Travel & Adventure
April 23, 2013
Â
Long time trail rider and curious inventor Ed Delgado decided to develop a special bike for his 13-year-old daughter about five years ago. He used downhill mountain bike parts to keep the bike light and easy to handle for his daughter. Two prototypes and a year later, he was able to perfect his invention, ensuring to keep the mass low at only 70 kilos!
Â
A much lighter bike than KTM 525, the Tech-X 125 costs half the price of a Honda XR200 motorcycle, doesn’t come with a clutch, and only requires five liters of gasoline to cover 150 kilometers (roughly 93 miles).

As you can see in the photos, you can encounter difficult trails as you traverse the mountain’s beaten track. You can already chalk up trail riding as one of the more challenging sports right now. With the right equipment and proper training and guidance, you are bound to find trail riding a truly enjoyable activity.
