Taza De Oro – “The Authentic Chinese Cuisine”
WHEN IN MANILA, particularly in Greenhills, San Juan, let your family experience an authentic Chinese cuisine at Taza de Oro Food Garden. This is where you will find old style Chinese food that we used to know from childhood memories.
Chicken Corn Soup – kids love it! So flavorful and meaty.
Hot and Sour Soup
Having Taza De Oro’s hot and sour soup is a great way to start a meal. It has the right amount of sourness with a mild spicy kick. The soup is also packed with yummy mushrooms and healthy tofu 🙂
WHAT ELSE TO TRY: Taza De Oro’s extra special Buddha Soup. They don’t scrimp on ingredients so you can be assured that it contains everything that should be there – shark’s fin, abalone, pacific clams, etc.
Super refreshing drinks (clockwise from top left) Black gulaman and almond, mango shake, Iced Tea and Four seasons shake
Misua Guisado – very tasty and the veggies were not overcooked 🙂
Broccoli with 2 kinds of mushrooms
This is one of my favorites at Taza De Oro. I love broccoli and mushrooms so this one’s a winner for me
XO Fried Rice
XO sauce enhances the flavors of meats, veggies and seafood making this fried rice the perfect accompaniment to any dish at Taza De Oro.
Golden Butter Chicken
Taza De Oro’s buttered chicken was fried to a golden finish. Everybody loved its crunchy skin and juicy meat. Next best thing to chicharon.
Oyster Cake – comes with ketchup, pickled veggies and hot sauce
I love the crispy edges and chunks of plump oysters on a bed of moist and soft omelet.
Sweet and Sour Fish
This is a must try – the fish was super tasty; plus, the ripe mangoes and sweet bell peppers complemented it really well.
Cereal Prawns
Taza De Oro’s cereal prawns were sooooo good! The prawns had a buttery garlic taste, a perfect mix with sweet crunchy cereals garnished with curry leaves. I could snack on this all day!
Sweet and Sour Pork
My nephew’s favorite! He enjoyed munching on Taza De Oro’s sweet and sour pork so much that he almost finished the whole plate. The meat was so tender and moderately tangy 🙂
Also, Taza De Oro not only serves really yummy authentic Chinese dishes, but good desserts, too.
Masachi with black mongo
Buchi with crispy sesame seeds
Mango Sago – not your ordinary mango sago. It’s like mango milk shake, only better 🙂
