Taylor Swift is not slowing down as she makes history at the Billboard Music Awards (BBMA).

In a video message, the American pop star dedicated her wins to her loyal fan base for supporting her every step of the way.
“Thank you to the fans, because Billboard is counting your stuff. They’re counting what you listen to—the albums that you’re passionate about. I count these as fan-voted awards because you’re the ones who care about the albums and come see us in concert. Everything that’s happened with the Eras Tour and The Tortured Poets Department, I just have to say thank you. It means the world to me that you guys embraced the things I’ve made, and the fact that you care so much about my music,” she said.
The multi-award-winning singer-songwriter bagged ten trophies: Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Hot 100 Songwriter, Top Streaming Songs Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Billboard Global 200 Artist, Top Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.) Artist and Top Billboard 200 Album for The Tortured Poets Department.
As a result, she raised a total of 49 wins, surpassing her tie with Drake and making her the most-awarded artist in BBMA history.
Just in time for her 35th birthday, she expressed her gratitude once more: “This is the nicest early birthday present you could have given me. So, thank you very much. I love it. It’s exactly what I wanted.”
2024 has been a successful year for the Fortnight hitmaker. In April, she released her eleventh studio album The Tortured Poets Department, which contained 31 tracks.
Aside from releasing a critically acclaimed album, she successfully concluded her record-breaking Eras Tour in Vancouver. The tour grossed over $2 billion in ticket sales and drew more than ten million fans worldwide.
