With a current net worth of $1.6 billion (Php 91 billion), according to Forbes, Taylor has surpassed Rihanna’s former record of $1.4 billion (approximately Php 80 billion). With such whopping numbers, how did she achieve this remarkable success?

In October 2023, Taylor earned her billionaire status, which can be credited to her earnings from her ongoing Eras Tour, which was the first tour to gross a billion dollars in just eight months, and her box-office concert film of the same name.

Moreover, the singer-songwriter has earned a fortune from releasing a string of re-recorded albums. The Fortnight singer has re-recorded four out of six albums, including Fearless (Taylor’s Version), Red (Taylor’s Version), Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), and 1989 (Taylor’s Version).

Furthermore, the American pop star has amassed $600 million (Php 34 million) from royalties and touring, another $600 million from her extensive music catalog, and $125 million (Php 7 billion) from real estate.

With this, Taylor is the first musician to achieve billionaire status based on her songs and performances alone.

However, Rihanna continues to retain the title of “Richest Female Musician of All Time,” as her net worth once reached $1.77 billion (nearly Php 101 billion).

Meanwhile, American rapper Jay-Z tops the list of richest musicians with an estimated net worth of $2.5 billion (Php 142 billion). This puts Taylor in the second spot.
