Home to Mayan civilizations since at least 300 BC, the lake is surrounded by villages rich in history and culture. Each afternoon, warm southern winds mix with cooler highland breezes, creating strong waves and a unique microclimate known as Xocomil, ideal for coffee cultivation. This distinctive coffee boasts medium to high acidity, a medium body, and notes of orange blossom and salted caramel.​

Since its debut in 2011, Starbucks Tribute Blend™ celebrates the incredible variety found throughout the world of coffee. This year’s blend features four of our favorite origins: Sumatra, Colombia, Papua New Guinea, and Ethiopia. Each used a range of processing techniques tuned to each coffee. Highlighting the sweetest expressions of each origin, this blend sings, “Here’s to coffee.” This coffee offers a medium acidity and a medium body, with notes of black cherry and baking spices. ​
