Since its reintroduction, the Ladurée Philippines flagship in Bonifacio Global City – the first Ladurée flagship in Southeast Asia – has welcomed a growing community of guests drawn to its signature blend of French elegance and exceptional craftsmanship. The brand has sold over 600,000 macarons while earning a reputation as one of Metro Manila’s premier establishments for artisanal French pastries crafted using the finest ingredients sourced from around the world. These milestones reflect the growing appetite among Filipino diners for elevated culinary experiences rooting in authenticity and timeless luxury.
Chef Sau brings decades of culinary experience, including years spent living and training in Paris, giving him a deep understanding of French culinary traditions and the culture that defines Ladurée. His appointment marks a natural next step for the brand as it continues to elevate its dining experience while remaining faithful to the heritage that has shaped Ladurée for over 160 years.

“Our first year has been about introducing Ladurée to the Philippines and earning the trust of guests who appreciate exceptional quality, craftsmanship and hospitality,” said Karan Gopwani, Founder and CEO of Gastronova Hospitality Group. “As we celebrate this milestone, we’re equally excited about what comes next. Chef Sau’s appointment marks the beginning of a new culinary chapter that kickstarts a much bigger vision. Over the coming years, we’ll continue bringing Ladurée closer to more Filipinos through new concepts, new locations, and new ways to experience the brand while staying true to the elegance and heritage that have made Ladurée an icon around the world.
For Chef Sau, joining Ladurée represents an opportunity to contribute to one of the world’s most celebrated culinary brands while creating experiences that resonate with Filipino diners.
“Ladurée is one of those rare brands whose heritage speaks for itself,” said Chef Sau Del Rosario, Culinary Director of Ladurée Philippines. “Having spent time in Paris and experienced its culinary culture firsthand, it’s an honor to help continue that tradition here in Manila. My role is to build on Ladurée’s remarkable foundation by creating dishes and experiences that encourage guests to discover something new while staying true to the spirit that has made the brand beloved around the world. I look forward to welcoming Filpino diners into this exciting new chapter.”

The anniversary also marks the beginning of Ladurée Philippines’ next phase of growth. Beyond its flagship boutique, the brand is expanding through new formats designed to meet guests where they are across neighborhood cafes, catering services, private events, and curated brand experiences. In the months ahead, Ladurée will launch Southeast Asia’s first Ladurée travel retail boutique at NAIA Terminal 3, followed by a new cafe concept at SM Megamall designed to introduce younger generations to the brand new locations and more formats in Metro Manila and beyond as the brand continues its nationwide expansion.
Together, these developments reflect the company’s bold ambition to make Ladurée’s signature Parisian experience more accessible while preserving the craftsmanship and elegance that define the brand.
