Catriona Gray is having the time of her life as the reigning Miss Universe. She’s having so much fun that she…. actually broke the Mikimoto crown winners wear.
According to her, “One of the things I loved most about the parade is that they have this, like, moving band and they have the drums [that] makes me wanna dance. So, I end up dancing although I’m not a very good dancer.”
Then she held up one of the broken parts of the Mikimoto crown.
Dun dun dun.
Apparently, all is well because the Miss Universe Organization replied to the video, saying, “Don’t worry! It’ll be fixed in no time.”
The Miss Universe’s legendary Mikimoto crown is made with yellow and white gold, and has a seven-feather design inspired by the Fenghuang phoenix. Its estimated value is $250,000 (roughly P13.2 million).
Hope it gets fixed soon, Cat!
