7. At the second level of SM Mega Fashion Hall, you can find a dainty-looking stall called Custaroonery. What’s unique about this store is that they combine both custard and macaroons. Heaven! Their custaroons are soft and melt-in-your-mouth creamy. They also come in pretty packaging!
They can also be given as gifts. Plus, you can save time on gift-wrapping because of the pretty packaging!

8. For some worth-it Japanese food lovin’, try Osaka Ohsho, the WORLD’S NUMBER 1 Gyoza!
When you’re here, try their gyoza, which comes in three different flavors: original (P175/6pcs., P350/12pcs.), cheese (P190/6pcs., P380/12 pcs.), and nori/seaweed (P190/6pcs., P380/12 pcs.). It would be best to try them with their special sauces (gyoza soy sauce, miso, and chili). I mixed all of the sauces and luckily, it didn’t taste bad! I loved that every gyoza was actually full, like there’s not too much air just to make it appear full. They are soft, but the gyoza wrapper does not break easily, so it’s not a hassle to eat them with chopsticks.
The Chicken Karaage is also a must-try here. The chicken is covered in sweet and sour sauce based in black vinegar. Crunchy and very tasty!

9. If you want some authentic Sangria, head over to Boqueria and have their paella queso hamonado, as well. Chef Dani and Chef Javier, both Spanish, said that they make their own chorizos and that almost everything in the ingredients is imported, too. They also have their special signature churros that you can dip in Valor chocolate. Hhhmmm!
10. Abe, a Filipino restaurant which specializes in Kapampangan dishes, has a tagline that says “where good friends dine”, but that does not mean that families and couples aren’t welcome here. Truth be told: I liked the ambiance very much because it’s not too intimidating, but you’ll still feel like you are in an extraordinary place.
11. Ah, this one is for the burger lovers out there! If you’re already tired of the usual patty flavors, then 8 Cuts Burger Blends is perfect for you. Forget about counting calories for a while and indulge in adventurous burger treats! Order some of their special big onion rings, too!
12. Lugang Cafe has the prestige of being awarded as one of the Philippines’ best restaurants in 2013. It offers the famous xiao long bao, soup-filled Shanghai steamed dumplings that are best dipped in black vinegar with shaved ginger.
