Tiktok, a rescued dog who survived after being shot with dart arrows, has died from a car accident.

On September 7, BACH Project PH mourned the unfortunate loss on Facebook.
“Today, we lost Tiktok in a tragic accident while she was in foster care. She slipped out, ran, and was hit by a car. It was so sudden, and even now, it feels impossible to accept,” the organization wrote.
“As rescuers, we carry so much guilt when tragedies like this happen, even when we know we did our best. She was supposed to be safe. She was supposed to have more time. The ‘what ifs’ are endless, and the pain of losing her is unbearable,” it added.
In a separate Facebook post, the animal welfare organization reiterated that they have not released details about the car accident, as they are still seeking more information about the incident.
“We have not released details publicly because we are still not certain who hit Tiktok. Unless we have clear evidence, we will not point fingers or make accusations. That would be irresponsible, right? What we know for sure is that it was a tragic accident, and it has left us heartbroken.” the post read.
It added: “We promise to share an update about the incident once we receive valid and verified information. Until then, we ask for respect and understanding. Rescue is already full of pain and loss and this is one of the hardest. Please allow us to mourn Tiktok in peace.”
They also announced that Tiktok’s body will be at Green Meadows Pet Aftercare – Pet Cremation in Negros on Monday, September 8, from 10 AM to 11 AM.
Tiktok garnered widespread public attention after being shot with improvised dart arrows in Murcia, Negros Occidental.
In June, the organization shared more updates about Tiktok, who looks healthier and in a much better state compared to when she was first found. The rescued dog also successfully finished the Athlerun Pawthection Run 2025 in late August.
