Are you wondering what happened to Tiktok—the innocent stray dog who went viral on social media after being shot with improvised dart arrows in Murcia, Negros Occidental?

Thankfully, she has recovered! On June 27, BACH Project PH posted photo updates of Tiktok, who looks healthier and in a much better state compared to when she was first found.
“From being broken and in pain to now glowing with life, love, and second chances. She’s come so far, and these beautiful portraits capture her strength, softness, and spirit perfectly,” the Bacolod-based non-profit organization wrote in a Facebook post.
It added: “Thank you again for the amazing shoot, Pawfect Portraits Bacolod, and for being so generous with your time and talent! Our Tiktok looked like a total model. Hope you’re ready, because the next batch of rescue superstars is coming your way soon… better clear some space on that camera! Thanks to you, they’ll have a much better chance at finding their forever homes. We seriously appreciate it!”
“P.S. Tiktok is proudly wearing her tag from PetHub Ph— safe, identified, and loved. Thank you for helping keep our rescues protected!”
In February, the non-profit animal welfare organization informed the public about TikTok, who was shot five times with improvised dart arrows and was in urgent need of help and a blood donation when found and rescued. Following this act of cruelty, an anonymous donor and Murcia, Negros Occidental Mayor Gerry Rojas offered cash reward for any information that would lead to the arrest of those responsible for injuring the dog.
“No animal should endure this. Every moment without treatment is unbearable,” the organization said.
