Relax, Eat, and Dine at RED Kitchen + Bar: Your Modern “Gimikan” in the South! (GIVEAWAY ALERT)

Relax, eat, and dine.

Among the three words, I only get to fulfill the “eat” and the “dine” part; But, the “relax” doesn’t apply as we’re always on the go: busy working and taking care of the family. That’s why, when we’re given a chance to relax, we take it and run with it, ’til the wheels fall off! Satisfyingly, we found love in this marvelous place: RED Kitchen + Bar, which opened April of this year at Filinvest Riverpark.

Red Kitchen Bar 1

We went on a Wednesday night, which felt like a weekend! Tuesday: Elmerjun Hilario “The One Man Band.” (Acoustic) 7 PM to 11 PM; Wednesday: Serendipity (pictured) VIII (Acoustic) 7 PM to 11 PM; Thursday: Serenata Strings (Acoustic) 8 PM to 11 PM; Friday: The Johnnys Band (Rockeoke) 9 PM to 12 AM

This new gem of a bar/restaurant is owned by a group of friends, who love to relax, eat, dine, and catch up with their close friends and families. According to Ardy, one of the owners and a Leadership and Motivational Speaker, the restaurant was conceptualized as a place where they (his co-owners/friends) can just hang out and sing with the band. So, to further describe the place, I have three words for you: Stylish, Posh, and Gastronomic! Here’s why:

Stylish

The interiors and design speak for itself. They look contemporary yet elegant! It’s like being in a hotel lobby or lounge. The place is cool, calm, and collective.

According to Color Psychology, the color red helps us feel energized. It excites the emotions and motivates us to take action. Hence, when you feel lethargic from work,  rekindle with your friends, family, spouses, and partners at the RED Kitchen + Bar!

One of the owners used to work as DJ and spin pieces of vinyl (records) during the 90’s. He’s old-school with it!

Posh/Gastronomic

This place may look posh and intimidating, but trust me, it isn’t. We also had a notion before that we couldn’t afford to go here, but to our surprise, the prices in the menu were pretty decent and whether it’s payday or not, you can definitely chillax here!

These are called “Jackstones.” They are Monterey Jack Cheese Poppers with homemade delicious marinara dip!

My favorite of them all, Lumpiang Sisig! One word: DELECTABLE! Apart from this, they also have Vera Salad, Crispy Smashed POS (fried and pinched marble potatoes), and more for starters!

One of the best-sellers of RED Kitchen + Bar is their 72-Hour Soy Pork Belly, served with kimchi rice pilaf. I suggest to come hungry so you can finish this extremely delicious meal!

Of course, last but not least, the desserts!
