Another unique way of welcoming their guests is to showcase their passion in hospitality through delivering the butler service.

In the 17th and 18th centuries, butlers were often the middle-ranking male staff of a grand household. They were in-charge of proper and secure food storage, proper management, and clean silverware.  These are like the butlers who helped us with our needs for the day. They delivered our welcome fruits, utensils, and flower centerpiece.

If there is one thing that people abroad love the most, it would be the luxury of having great help. And, this is what Pan Pacific Manila is known for—indulging their guests in a memorable butler hotel experience.

There are two butler receptions in Pan Pacific. Both can accommodate guests checking-in or checking-out. According to the receptionist, a majority of their guests ask for further assistance in organizing transportation, laundry, tours, activities, and even groceries!

I grew up in Malate and I’ve witnessed how the place has evolved and continued to blossom as one of the tourist spots and busiest business districts in the Philippines. In fact, Pan Pacific Manila is one of the hotels that people love to choose because it’s strategically placed in the heart of Metro Manila.

Our room is overlooking the Malate CBD. Pan Pacific is just a 5 minute-walk away from Robinsons Mall. Chinatown is just a 13-minute drive from the hotel, and it’s near the International and Domestic Airports. Other attractions like Manila Ocean Park, Mall of Asia are also accessible.

Their King Deluxe Suite is perfect for big groups or even families.  The in-room amenities such as bathrobes, living and dining areas, coffee and tea making facilities and more, are purely designed for relaxation and/or worry-free business trips. 

The room has an executive working table, as well as, high-speed internet. For someone who works online or on a business trip, having a fast internet is a must. With Pan Pacific, they give guests 1.5 Mbps or higher upon request.

What I look forward to in hotels or any establishment is their bathroom. Ours was amazing. It has a separate rain shower and steam bath. There is a flat screen as well, so you won’t miss any of your favorite tv shows or series while enjoying your bubble bath. Ahhh, Calgon take me away!  

Bathrobes and comfortable towels were generously available.

Personally, the idea of having a sliding mirror looking into the restroom is absolutely magnificent. Imagine the kids are bathing, you can still look after them while reading a book in bed!
