READ: Abused Cat Finds A Loving Family and Home

It is saddening that there are people who belittle animals and treat them badly. Even pet owners, who are supposed to welcome these animals in their homes and families, sometimes resort to violence and abuse.

Ginger was a victim of violence in the hands of her former owner. One of the visible examples of the abuse done to her was the way her leash was too tightly tied that it caused a big abrasion on her neck. She was also obviously not fed well because she was so thin.

Luckily, Liza Fielder, a well-known fitness enthusiast and healthy living advocate, rescued Ginger from her awful situation. Liza took Ginger to the vet where she received the necessary treatment for her recovery. Her wound was tended to and she was given food, but unfortunately, she had a difficult time eating because her neck and throat were too painful.

Ginger will be under medication and close monitoring for the next few days before she can finally join her new family, the Pomkingdom. We can all rest assured that Ginger will be loved since she’s now under the care of Liza and her 13 other animals called the Pomrangers.
