Can’t enjoy the beach activities because of the rain? Fret not! We found Boracay’s hidden oasis and it’s a great place for a staycation especially in this rainy weather. The Strand Boutique Resort is ready to welcome you and give you the staycation that you deserve.
Boracay is the famous white beach in the Philippines visited by many for so many great reasons. Little did they know that there’s an oasis waiting to be discovered a few minutes away from Diniwid Beach and Station 1.

The Strand is a one-of-a-kind resort where you can indulge in a truly restful experience. Situated on the side of a hill, The Strand gives you a lush tropical greenery all around you plus an access to a nice view of Boracay on the top of the hill. With only 13 well-appointed suites and rooms, The Strand offers the most exclusive boutique garden resort on the island.
For as low as Php4,000++ (low season published rate), you can enjoy an ambiance of subdued elegance that is better to be experienced, not described. From solo travelers to couples to families and barkadas, The Strand has rooms and suites designed to make you feel so relaxed and at home.
Here are some photos of their one-bedroom suite that has its own living room, kitchenette, toilet, shower room, and balcony.

If the weather hinders you from taking a dip in the beach, no worries—you can indulge yourself in their salt-water pools, a water treatment that is gentle on the skin and the environment. The Strand also offers a butler service, although I wasn’t able to meet our designated butler since we always go out to try Boracay’s activities. The staff is attentive and friendly. Whenever they come across you, they will always greet you with smiles on their faces.
They don’t have a shuttle, but they can assist you in getting a tricycle ride. The tricycle ride from The Strand costs Php 100 which is somehow reasonable enough because it’s a special ride. You can also walk from the resort to the main road and wait for a tricycle there. It’s a hop on hop off ride which costs Php 15 per person.
Breakfast is included in the room rates and they offer a wide range of menu from Filipino to American dishes. All in all, our stay was definitely great. We really wished we could have stayed longer. #sepanx
If you want a private and relaxing getaway, especially on this rainy season, I recommend you to stay at The Strand Boutique Resort Boracay.
