Good news! Students and teachers can watch the highly anticipated historical film “Quezon” at a special price.

On September 7, TBA Studios announced that students and teachers can enjoy a special ticket rate of only P250 when the historical biopic gets released in local theaters on October 15.

To avail of the special ticket rate, students and teachers only need to present their school ID at the ticket counter of a nearby cinema.
This special ticket price encourages students and educators to watch and experience the film in the best way possible.
“The best way to watch ‘Quezon’ is on the big screen. We are encouraging Filipinos to watch and experience ‘Quezon’ in the cinema, where it is meant to be seen,” TBA President and COO Daphne O. Chiu-Soon said.
“TBA Studios designed ‘Quezon’ to be a true cinematic experience. This is evident from the film’s star-studded ensemble cast—including Jericho Rosales playing the role of Manuel L. Quezon and our ‘import’ Iain Glen of the hit fantasy television series “Game of Thrones” playing Leonard Wood—to its entirely world-class technical and artistic execution,” she added.
The TBA President also shared that they are open to making the historical biopic available to streaming platforms. However, it will not be released in the “immediate future.”
Directed by Jerrold Tarog, “Quezon” is a stand-alone film that is produced by TBA Studios with the support of the Film Development Council of the Philippines and CreatePHFilms.
Jericho Rosales is set to play the titular role of Philippine President Manuel L. Quezon. Meanwhile, those reprising their roles from “Heneral Luna” and “Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral” are Benjamin Alves as Young Manuel L. Quezon and Mon Confiado as Emilio Aguinaldo.
Moreover, the biopic also features an ensemble cast, starring Arron Villaflor, Cris Villanueva, Romnick Sarment, Karylle, JC Santos, Jake Macapagal, Bodjie Pascua, Angeli Bayani, Jojit Lorenzo, Joross Gamboa, Therese Malvar, Ana Abad Santos, Ketchup Eusebio, and Nico Locco.
Finally, Iain Glen, known for his portrayal of Jorah Mormont in the hit American fantasy television series “Game of Thrones,” joins the cast as Leonard Wood.
“Quezon” will be released internationally at a later date.
