Even before, gays (men who love men) have been celebrated in pageants, tv segments, newspaper and magazine articles. But only now are lesbians (women who love women) are making it big on tv! International singing sensation Charice Pempengco, Ex PBB housemate Divine Smith, singer Aiza Siguerra (who has recently proposed to her American-citizen, filipina girlfriend) have all graced our community with their courage to speak up and come forward with their sexuality.
& who doesn’t watch the hit noon time family friendly show It’s Showtime? They have publicly celebrated and supported the LGBT community with their segments “It’s PoGay” and “That’s my Tomboy.”
