This August 15–16, 2026, Makers Festa makes its way to Gimenez Gallery, UP Diliman, for a back-to-school-themed art market experience called Makers Festa Class of 2026.
Held only once a year, Makers Festa is a celebration of the local art scene, bringing together independent artists, illustrators, makers, and art lovers for a weekend dedicated to creativity, community, and supporting local Filipino artists. Inspired by the nostalgia of school and new beginnings, this year’s event theme invites visitors to relive the excitement of a new school year through art.

Featuring a total of 120 Filipino artists, illustrators, makers, and creative small businesses, Makers Festa Class of 2026 offers a diverse lineup of original artworks, prints, stickers, stationery, handmade crafts, ceramics, accessories, apparel, and other locally made finds, making it perfect for art collectors, stationery enthusiasts, or anyone simply looking for something unique.
More than just an art market, Makers Festa has become a gathering where creatives and art lovers alike can connect. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet their favorite artists in person and discover emerging local talents. The event also encourages attendees to explore new creative hobbies and celebrate the growing local art scene through meaningful interactions with the people behind the work.
Beyond shopping, visitors can also enjoy a lineup of exclusive Makers Festa event features designed to make their experience even more memorable. Capture the moment at Makers Moment, a roving Instax photobooth presented by Fujifilm Instax. Stop by Letters to Makers, where guests can write heartfelt notes of appreciation and encouragement to participating artists. Every attendee can also pick up the Festa Zine, an all-around guide to the event complete with an event map, artist directory, and a stamp collection page that visitors can fill out as they explore booths throughout the venue.
Staying true to this year’s Class of 2026 theme, guests can expect playful school-inspired decorations and interactive experiences that capture the excitement of the first day of school. Artists and attendees alike are also encouraged to come dressed in their best school-themed outfits, adding to the fun and bringing the creative school spirit to life. From classroom aesthetics to nostalgic back-to-school memories, every part of the event is designed to make visitors feel like they’re stepping into a campus where creativity is always part of the curriculum.
This year’s celebration is made possible with the support of Fujifilm Instax, Picole, Katinko, Papemelroti, CP-Meiji, Mozaiku, and The Generics Pharmacy, helping bring exciting activities and experiences to the Makers Festa community.
