On August 1, Katrina was crowned the international title in Poland, ending the country’s 13-year drought.
During the question-and-answer portion, the beauty queens were asked: “Tell us about the moment you stopped trying to become the woman the world expected and started becoming the woman you’re meant to be.”
Here’s Katrina’s winning answer:
I always believe that we should never fit into a mold. We are perfectly imperfect. I am someone who struggles with perfection. I am here today doing my best and becoming my best version. And here in Miss Supranational, I know I belong. I know a place for me—and this is becoming Supra—above and beyond.
Hailing from Taguig City, Katrina is now the second Filipina to win the Miss Supranational crown. Before her historic victory, she bested 66 other candidates to succeed Brazil’s Eduarda Braum.
The first one to win the historic title was Mutya Johanna Datul in 2013.
“This is more than a winning moment. It is the culmination of years of hard work, purpose, and believing that dreams are earned through perseverance,” Miss Universe Philippines wrote.
Meanwhile, Mister Pilipinas Supranational 2026 Felipe Marasigan finished as a Top 20 Finalist at Mister Supranational 2026.
