PLDT, Globe, and SkyCable have all announced a 30-day extension on bill payments. This is in light of the government’s directives for preventing the massive spread of COVID-19.
The Department of Health has called for people to stay in their homes and to practice social distancing. This extension on telco bill payments will help ensure the safety of their customers. While there are apps available for online payment, not everyone has access to it.

Mobile and internet users applauded these telco companies’ initiative to keep everyone from going outdoors just to pay bills.
This is seen to be even more helpful to students and workers alike since schools have transitioned to online classes, and many private companies have allowed their employees to work from home.
