YouTube couple Cong TV and Viy Cortez are engaged to be married, much to the joy of their fans and friends!
The two announced their engagement on November 3 through a sweet Facebook post of them sharing a kiss with a giant diamond ring in full view on Viy’s finger. “Yes love! Una pa lang alam ko na ikaw ang magiging asawa ko (From the very start, I knew you were going to be my husband),” Viy wrote on the caption of the post.
Meanwhile, Cong Velasquez shared a picture of them at home and jokingly told his fiancée that she can now stop asking him when he will propose to her. “Salamat sa matiyaga mong paghihintay. Hindi ka na magtatanong sa’kin muli. (Thank you for patiently waiting. You won’t need to ask me again.) I love you @viycortez!” he said.

The two got engaged during Cong’s birthday party last October 28, witnessed by their close friends and fellow vloggers. He shared the video of his proposal on his YouTube vlog titled “VIYDAY” followed by a heartfelt message at the end, voiced over clips from their different life moments.
“We’ve come a long way but a lot to go. Solid kasi naging sandalan kita sa mga pinakamahirap na parte ng buhay ko at salamat sa Diyos na ikaw ang kasama ko ngayon sa mga pinakamasasarap na parte,” he said.
“Swerte ako kasi sa’yo ko kailangan tanungin ‘yung ‘Will you marry me?’ Bukod kasi sa sure ako na o-oo ka sa’kin, wala na akong mahihiling pa sa isang babaeng katulad mo. Matalino, madiskarte, maganda, nakakatawa, mapagmahal na anak, at unbelievable na ina – mga bagay na parehas na parehas tayo. I love you, love. Maraming salamat sa pag-unawa mo, pagmamahal mo sa akin, at higit sa lahat sa matiyagang paghihintay mo sa akin.”
Cong and Viy have been together for seven years and share one son, Kidlat, who was born in July 2022.
